An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Professional Indemnity Partner to join the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm. The firm is looking to strengthen its professional indemnity offering with the appointment of a Partner who has a strong and demonstrable client following and a proven track record in developing and growing a practice.

The Role
- Lead and develop a Professional Indemnity practice in Birmingham
- Act on complex and high-value professional negligence disputes
- Develop existing client relationships and generate new business
- Work with a broad range of professional clients and insurers
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's wider national and international network
- Play a key role in the continued growth and strategic development of the team
The Candidate
- A strong technical background in professional indemnity / professional negligence
- Significant experience advising insurers and/or professional clients
- A strong reputation within the market
- An established and transferable client following
- A proven track record in business development
- Excellent client relationship and networking skills
- The ambition to grow and develop a team and practice
The firm is particularly interested in lawyers with experience acting for insurers, professional firms and other professional clients, across a range of complex claims.
