This is a new opportunity for a knowledgeable and proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead and coordinate health, safety and wellbeing activity across several offices.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of H&S delivery, working closely with teams at all levels to ensure compliance, drive best practice and foster a positive safety culture.
You will act as the go‐to specialist for all health and safety matters, providing practical guidance and hands‐on support across the business. Responsibilities include:
- Guiding managers and teams on their legal obligations and day‐to‐day H&S responsibilities.
- Completing DSE assessments and issuing clear, proportionate recommendations.
- Planning, delivering and coordinating mandatory training, inductions and refresher programmes.
- Preparing and reviewing risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing effective control measures.
- Reviewing, developing and embedding health & safety policies and procedures.
- Supporting safe working practices for office moves, refurbishments, new premises and acquisitions.
Skills Required:
- You will be a confident, organised health & safety professional who is comfortable working independently while building strong relationships across the business.
- Applications are sought from Health & Safety Managers with a minimum of two years' health & safety experience within the UK.
- Sound knowledge of HSE legislation, regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- A full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Midlands.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
- The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to work within a team environment.
