Penny Trotman, a member of eNL’s specialist Midlands and South West Private Practice team, is currently recruiting for an Employment Partner to be based in Birmingham to join a Top Tier international employment practice. This is a unique opportunity to join a well thought of and respected practice with a solid reputation. As well as being technical experts, the current employment team are enthusiastic and get stuck in to a wide, varied range of work, so it’s never dull! You will be used to staying calm under pressure and your colleagues will always be on hand to support you.
As well as advising on all aspects of employment law, the team also offer a wide range of value added services; of particular note is their impressive training offering. You will provide advice to a wide range of both private and public sector clients on all aspects of employment law, including strategic employment law, major HR projects (i.e. outsourcing and restructuring), employment law compliance, executive severance, trade union and collective issues, and employment contracts and policies. The team also advise on the full range of employment tribunal and High Court litigation, including team moves and enforcing restrictive covenants.
As the appointed Partner, you will have strong academics and a good grounding in both contentious and non-contentious employment law. A real go-getter with a business/commercial mind, who can work well under pressure. If you are keen to engage with clients and work together to solve their business issues, this role is for you! In an ideal world, you will be able to present excellent business acumen, a loyal portfolio of clients, and the ability to provide practical and sound legal advice to your clients.
