We are working with a highly regarded firm with one of the largest and most specialist leasehold teams in the country. Acting for both freeholders and leaseholders across England and Wales, the team has built an outstanding reputation and continues to see significant growth, handling approximately 350 cases per year and having supported around 10,000 clients with lease extensions and enfranchisement matters.

The Role:

This position involves managing a dedicated caseload of lease extension, enfranchisement, and right to manage matters. The role is purely non-contentious, with specialist property litigators within the firm handling any contentious work, allowing you to focus on high-quality transactional matters.

You will also play a key role within the team, contributing to the supervision and development of junior staff, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring and team development alongside fee-earning responsibilities.

The Candidate:

The successful Lease Extension Lawyer will be a true specialist in lease extension and enfranchisement work, with a minimum of 3 years' focused experience in this area. This role is not suited to those with limited or occasional exposure; candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise and a clear commitment to this niche area of law.

You will have proven experience supervising and training junior team members, alongside a strong billing history and the ability to manage and delegate work effectively. The role requires someone who thrives in a busy environment, can adapt to change, and maintains excellent standards of client care and communication. Strong organisational and IT skills are essential, as well as a collaborative and enthusiastic approach to team working.

Working Arrangements:

The firm offers flexibility with fully remote, hybrid, or office-based working options across its Wiltshire offices. However, candidates who are able to spend some time in the office will be preferred, given the supervisory and training aspects of the role.

What’s on Offer:

This is a rare opportunity to join a leading specialist team in a growing area of law, offering high-quality work, a strong support network, and the chance to further develop your expertise within a well-established and respected practice.
