LOCATION: Berkshire (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days from home)

SALARY: £35K-£60K (DOE)

THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Legal Executive with a minimum of one year’s Private Client / Probate experience to help deliver modern, efficient and empathetic probate and estate administration services. Managing your own caseload of probate matters, your role will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to distribution.
  • Providing expert legal advice on probate, inheritance tax and private client matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents including IHT forms, grant applications and estate accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with probate law, SRA regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and paralegals.

ABOUT YOU

  • Legal Counsel / Legal Executive / Lawyer with a minimum of one year’s experience in probate or private client law.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the future of legal services.
  • A confident communicator who can support clients through emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and clarity.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end probate and estate administration cases.
  • Ability to handle complex or high-value estates with minimal supervision.
