JOB TITLE: Solicitor – Contentious Probate PQE REQUIRED: 3 - 5 LOCATION: Berkshire THE ROLE: A specialist Will Disputes and Contentious Probate team is seeking a litigation solicitor to join its growing practice.
The role will focus solely on contentious probate work, covering a broad mix of disputes arising from estates and trusts.
This will include claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act, challenges to the validity of wills, executor and administrator disputes, estate administration issues, Court of Protection matters and trust-related litigation.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while also contributing to larger, more complex matters alongside colleagues across both contentious and private client teams.
The position offers close support and technical guidance within a well-established specialist team, alongside opportunities to build expertise in this niche area.
Applicants will typically have between three and five years’ experience in civil litigation, with exposure to contentious probate work.
Candidates from a broader litigation background with a genuine interest in this area will also be considered.
