Join a well regarded law firm as an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor within its growing dispute resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor seeking to take the next step in their career in a supportive, high quality practice.
The successful candidate will join an established property litigation team and take responsibility for a varied and interesting caseload of residential and commercial property disputes. The role will involve advising a broad client base including landlords, tenants, developers and private individuals on matters such as landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations, forfeiture, possession claims and rights of way. You will manage cases from initial instruction through to resolution, drafting pleadings and correspondence, negotiating settlements and progressing matters through litigation. The role also offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied and interesting caseload of residential and commercial property disputes, from instruction through to resolution.
- Advise landlords, tenants, developers and private individuals on matters such as landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations, forfeiture, possession claims and rights of way.
- Draft pleadings and correspondence, negotiate settlements and progress matters through litigation.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitors with at least 4 years’ PQE and proven experience handling property litigation matters.
- Confidence managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge alongside a commercial and pragmatic approach.
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships and contributing to the growth of the department.
