THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for a Catastrophic Injury Solicitor to join a highly regarded defendant personal injury team handling complex and high-value catastrophic loss claims on behalf of major insurer clients. You will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers on a broad caseload of defendant catastrophic injury matters including Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims, with claim values ranging from substantial six-figure matters through to multi-million-pound cases.
The role will involve assisting with and managing files relating to liability investigations, drafting pleadings and client reports, instructing experts, analysing medical evidence and attending hearings where appropriate. You will gain exposure to technically challenging and sensitive matters while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Newly Qualified Solicitor with up to two years’ post-qualification experience within defendant personal injury, catastrophic injury or insurance litigation. Experience handling Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and RTA matters is essential, whether managing your own files or assisting senior colleagues on complex claims.
You will possess strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively. A commercial and proactive approach, together with the confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally, will be important for success in this role.
