A senior opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a growing and highly regarded employment team, advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters while playing a key role in client development and team leadership.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a well-established and expanding employment team within a leading national firm. Based in Oxfordshire, you will advise on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for a varied client base with a particular focus on corporate and education sector clients.
The role will involve advising on day-to-day employment law issues, handling Employment Tribunal litigation, supporting corporate transactions and delivering commercially focused guidance to clients across a range of workplace matters. In addition, you will contribute to client training programmes, seminars and legal updates, while actively supporting business development initiatives and strengthening long-term client relationships.
Working closely with senior leadership within the employment practice, you will also play an important role in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to the continued growth and development of the team. You will benefit from being part of a collaborative national employment practice with strong cross-office support and resources.
The successful candidate will have at least seven years' post-qualification experience gained within a respected employment practice. You will possess strong technical expertise across both contentious and advisory employment work, together with experience managing Employment Tribunal matters and delivering commercially pragmatic advice.
You will demonstrate excellent client relationship skills, a proactive approach to business development and the ability to identify and develop opportunities with both new and existing clients. Experience supervising junior lawyers and delivering training or presentations to clients would be advantageous. A collaborative and commercially aware approach, combined with strong communication skills and sound judgement, will be essential.
