THE ROLE:

As Head of Private Client, you will take the lead in a successful and well-established department, combining hands-on client work with strategic leadership. You'll have the autonomy to influence the direction of the team, mentor talented lawyers and play a key role in the continued growth of the firm.

You'll manage a varied and high-quality caseload including:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Trusts
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection matters

Alongside your own caseload, you'll inspire and develop your team, identify business development opportunities, strengthen client relationships and ensure the department continues to deliver an exceptional standard of service.

THE CANDIDATE:

We're looking for an accomplished Private Client Solicitor with:

  • At least 10 years' PQE
  • Strong technical expertise across the full spectrum of private client work
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for developing people and growing a department

STEP qualification would be highly advantageous, as would an established network of professional contacts and referrers.
