The Opportunity
The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own caseload and gain valuable experience working on complex and high-value claims. As part of an experienced Medical Negligence team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of medical negligence claims with appropriate support and supervision.
- Assisting with complex and high-value matters.
- Working closely with clients, medical experts, Counsel and healthcare providers.
- Preparing and drafting legal documentation.
- Supporting claims through settlement negotiations and, where necessary, court proceedings.
- Providing clients with clear, sensitive and practical advice throughout their claim.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and success of the department.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Qualified Solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE.
- Have experience in Medical Negligence, Personal Injury or Litigation, whether gained during a training contract or in a previous position.
- Have excellent communication and client care skills.
- Be well organised, commercially aware and attentive to detail.
- Demonstrate strong drafting and case management capabilities.
- Take a proactive and motivated approach to their work.
- Be committed to providing an outstanding level of client service.
