Following growth in the wider business, there is a strategic requirement to recruit an experienced barrister or solicitor‑advocate. Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a practising certificate.
BARRISTER / SOLICITOR ADVOCATE
The core practice areas are:
- Personal injury
- Clinical negligence and costs
- Civil liberties
- Housing disrepair
- Consumer claims litigation
The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced clerking team. Nationwide travel is required, but is carefully managed to maintain a healthy balance with home/office working.
You will receive mentoring from an experienced barrister, access comprehensive training materials and legal resources, and be provided with IT equipment and support. Separate professional indemnity insurance is not required.
The nature, complexity and value of the work you undertake will reflect your level of experience, but there is sufficient intermediate and multi‑track work available to sustain a substantial and varied practice from the outset.
There is a particular interest in hearing from candidates who have experience of supervising pupils.
