THE ROLE:
The firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its busy Private Client department. This is a varied and fast-paced role covering all aspects of private client work, requiring experience and knowledge in:
- Estate and care fees planning
- Wills and will writing
- Lasting powers of attorney
- Court of Protection matters
- Trusts and trust administration
- Probate and administration of estates
- Inheritance tax planning and investments
- Charity-related matters
- Deputyship applications and management
Secretarial support is provided.
THE CANDIDATE:
The role requires at least three years' PQE with strong private client experience in wills, trusts, estates, and tax. You will manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality technical work and excellent client care. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise, meet tight deadlines, and use initiative. A STEP qualification is preferred but not an essential requirement; candidates currently studying STEP will be considered.
