A Court of Protection Solicitor – Partner position is available in Kent/Hybrid, requiring 7+ PQE. The role involves leading and managing a complex Court of Protection caseload, specialising in brain and catastrophic injury deputyships. Responsibilities include providing expert advice on all aspects of Court of Protection work, including deputyship applications, statutory wills, gifts, property transactions, financial management, and Personal Injury Trusts. Candidates will also supervise and mentor junior staff.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are open to qualified solicitors with 7+ years' PQE in Court of Protection work, who are highly skilled in managing complex deputyship cases involving clients with brain injuries. A strong leadership background with experience supervising and developing teams is essential. Candidates should be confident communicators with strong client care skills and commercial awareness, including involvement in business development and client retention.
