Regulatory Solicitor (Advocate) / 3+ Years' Advocacy Experience / London / £70,000 - £80,000 DOE – A superb opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Advocate to join a highly regarded specialist team acting on behalf of professional regulators across a broad range of fitness to practise and disciplinary proceedings. Regulatory Solicitor (Advocate) PQE: Advocacy Experience Required An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Advocate to join a nationally recognised regulatory team acting on behalf of professional regulators across a variety of sectors including healthcare, legal, education and professional services. This role offers the chance to undertake high-quality advocacy work on a daily basis, appearing before regulatory tribunals and courts in relation to fitness to practise proceedings, disciplinary matters and interim applications. You will take ownership of your cases from preparation through to advocacy, drafting hearing documentation, advising on investigations and supporting clients on wider regulatory issues. The successful candidate will be involved in a varied caseload of contested and uncontested hearings and will play a key role in helping regulators protect the public and uphold professional standards. Applications are welcomed from qualified advocates with a minimum of three years’ experience conducting contested and uncontested hearings within a regulatory, disciplinary or fitness to practise environment. You will possess excellent advocacy and communication skills together with strong analytical ability and sound legal judgement. Experience within healthcare regulation, professional discipline or tribunal advocacy would be advantageous, although candidates from broader regulatory backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
