A new opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy residential property team.
THE ROLE:
- Providing proactive administrative and secretarial support to a busy and high-performing conveyancing team.
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and arranging appointments.
- Handling all aspects of file administration, including opening, maintaining and closing client files.
- Carrying out Land Registry checks and property searches.
- Assisting with post-completion processes, such as SDLT submissions.
- Supporting billing, document management and the overall progress of matters from instruction through to completion.
THE CANDIDATE:
You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or in a conveyancing support role, with a solid understanding of the residential conveyancing process. You will demonstrate fast and accurate typing skills, excellent document production and organisation, and a professional, approachable manner in all client interactions. Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
