Legal Cashier, 6 Month Fixed Term Contract, £26,000 DOE, Nottinghamshire
We are currently working for a well-established firm in Nottinghamshire who are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to cover a period of maternity.
The Role:
- Checking and processing legal aid bills including POA1’s and final bills, private client and conveyancing bills.
- Checking conveyancing completion statements and estate accounts.
- Processing client and office account receipts.
- Client to office account transfers.
- Client and office account bank reconciliations.
- Taking card payments.
- Setting up electronic payments.
- Purchase ledger.
- Petty cash.
- General accounts duties.
About you:
- Previous legal cashier experience is essential.
- You should have knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and AML legislation.
- Experience with Xero accounts software and Leap Case Management system is advantageous.
