An outstanding opportunity for an established Intellectual Property Partner to leverage a global platform and expand their practice within a market-leading team.

A strategic opportunity has arisen for an established Intellectual Property Partner to join the firm's Manchester office and play a key role in the continued development of its Intellectual Property offering. The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of non-contentious intellectual property matters, including IP strategy, exploitation and commercialisation, licensing arrangements, collaboration agreements, technology transfers, brand protection and complex commercial contracts involving intellectual property rights. Working closely with colleagues across the corporate, commercial, technology and life sciences teams, you will help strengthen the firm's market presence whilst developing your own practice within a highly supportive environment.

Applications are sought from existing Intellectual Property Partners with a demonstrable client following and a proven track record of developing successful client relationships. The successful individual will possess:

  • Significant experience advising on non-contentious intellectual property matters.
  • A strong client network and portable practice.
  • Experience working with technology, life sciences, retail, media or other IP-rich sectors.
  • Excellent business development and relationship management skills.
  • An entrepreneurial approach and desire to contribute to the growth of the wider practice.
  • Leadership capabilities and experience supporting team development.
