Head of Department opportunity! This full-service regional law firm has a busy Residential Conveyancing practice and is looking for a Head of Department to lead the team. In addition to a competitive salary, the firm offers a comprehensive benefits package.
THE ROLE: The conveyancing team undertakes a variety of residential and commercial property work, the majority being residential, and the role will entail managing a full caseload of matters including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfer of equity and lease extensions, acquisitions and sales of businesses and refinancing.
The appointed candidate will manage and be supported by a team of Conveyancing Solicitors, will generate fees, and engage in business development.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate must have an in-depth understanding of how the residential conveyancing and commercial property processes work and have experience in dealing with matters quickly and cost effectively.
Experience of, or a desire to lead and manage a department is essential as is business acumen. This role is well suited to a confident, experienced individual with a desire to progress to Partner level.
