This is an excellent opportunity to join the dynamic Tier 1 family team of a highly successful Legal 500 recognised firm, with a competitive benefits package and opportunity for ongoing professional development.

  • The firm welcomes applications from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in the Care sector and membership of the Children Panel (or eligibility to apply).
  • You will handle a diverse caseload of public family law matters, including managing court proceedings, providing advice to clients, maintaining accurate records and meeting notes, and undertaking advocacy work where required.
  • You must have experience in preparing and managing Legal Aid funding applications and be willing to contribute to business development by handling new enquiries and strengthening existing relationships with Local Authority contacts.
  • You will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach. You will be expected to meet agreed targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of work and delivering exceptional client service.
  • You must be personable and empathetic, capable of providing clear legal advice with a practical, solution-focused approach to achieve the best outcomes for clients while managing expectations and risk. You should also demonstrate outstanding client care and strong interpersonal skills.
  • You must have a valid UK driving licence.
