A superb opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a growing specialist employment law practice offering high‑quality contentious and advisory work, flexibility and genuine scope to play a key role in the firm's continued expansion.
The Role
Acting for both employers and employees, the firm advises on the full spectrum of employment law matters, with a strong focus on standalone advisory and litigation work rather than corporate support. You will manage a varied caseload covering:
- Employment Tribunal claims
- Workplace investigations
- Discrimination and whistleblowing matters
- Settlement agreements
- Redundancy processes
- Restrictive covenants
- Day‑to‑day HR and strategic employment advice
The role offers significant autonomy together with direct client contact and the opportunity to work closely with the firm's founder on more complex and high‑value matters. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are available.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will be a qualified Employment Solicitor with between three and six years’ post‑qualification experience gained within a reputable employment practice. You will be confident managing your own caseload, advising clients independently and handling contentious and non‑contentious matters from start to finish. Strong client care skills, commercial awareness and a proactive approach are essential. The firm is looking for an ambitious and personable lawyer who enjoys building relationships and is keen to become part of a growing business with long‑term progression opportunities. No client following is required.
