Commercial and Agricultural Litigation / Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Legal Executive, 1-4 years PQE, Cheshire. Full-time (or possibly part-time minimum 3 days per week). Hybrid working available. Salary dependent on experience and expertise, but as a guideline, somewhere in the region of £35,000 to £40,000.
Productive working environment, inspiring peer group and a caring culture. The appointment is required to expand the Litigation Department supporting the appointed lawyer who would manage their own caseload but would be part of a specialist team. Support and supervision available as appropriate. Own office and secretarial support. Bonus structure performance-related annual bonus.
The caseload will consist of:
- Agricultural holdings, tenancies and other property disputes.
- Disputes relating to boundaries and rights of way and adverse possession.
- Contentious Probate and Inheritance Act Claims.
- Farming partnership disputes.
- Succession disputes.
- Disputes relating to terms of supply, the fitness for purpose and quality of equipment and contractual terms, including in relation to milk contracts and milking parlours.
- Environmental and planning issues.
- Water supply, flooding and drainage disputes.
