THE ROLE:
- You will be responsible for a diverse private client caseload, advising individuals and families across a broad range of matters including Wills, estate and succession planning, Probate, estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection work.
- Deliver a high standard of client service, developing trusted relationships and providing practical, tailored legal advice.
- Work closely with the Head of Department and wider leadership team to help drive the team's strategic development.
- Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
- Support clients with empathy and professionalism through often complex and sensitive personal matters.
- Contribute to business development by nurturing professional contacts, identifying new opportunities, attending networking events and helping to grow the firm's private client offering.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Applications are sought from Private Client Solicitors with a minimum of 5 Years PQE.
- Strong technical knowledge covering Wills, Probate, estate administration and succession planning.
- A confident communicator with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
- Well organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic about developing new business and contributing to the ongoing success of the team.
