Education Solicitor (Partner), 8+ Years PQE, Cheltenham, £Highly competitive (DOE) – This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who is passionate about the education sector and keen to play a leading role in the continued development of a well-established national practice. REF:4526.

\nTHE ROLE:
\n• As a Partner, you will lead on a wide variety of strategic and corporate matters for education clients, with a particular focus on independent schools and education groups.
\n• You will provide commercially focused advice while building long-term relationships with clients and helping to shape the future direction of the practice.
\n• Advising on acquisitions, disposals and mergers involving independent schools and education businesses.
\n• Leading on reorganisations, collaborations and strategic projects designed to strengthen and future-proof educational institutions.
\n• Advising charities and education organisations on corporate restructuring and transformation.
\n• Working closely with colleagues across employment, property, regulatory and dispute resolution teams to deliver a seamless service.
\n• Developing and strengthening client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to senior decision-makers.
\n• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while enhancing the firm's profile within the education sector.
\n• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, supporting their technical and professional development.
\n
\nSKILLS REQUIRED:
\n• Applications are sought from Education Solicitors with a minimum of 8 Years PQE
\n• Experience operating at Partner or Legal Director level, or a strong track record demonstrating readiness for Partnership.
\n• An interest in, or experience advising, education, charity or not-for-profit organisations.
\n• Proven experience leading complex transactions and managing sophisticated client relationships.
\n• A strong business development mindset with the confidence to build networks and generate new opportunities.
\n• Excellent technical and drafting skills, combined with practical, solution-focused advice.
\n• The ability to inspire, mentor and develop colleagues while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
