An established and highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an ambitious Pensions Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its growing national pensions team in Birmingham, with flexible hybrid working on offer.

THE ROLE

  • Due to continued growth, the team is looking to appoint an experienced pensions solicitor to join a well-respected team.
  • You will work closely with senior lawyers, take responsibility for client relationships, and contribute to the ongoing expansion of the practice.
  • As the appointed Pensions Solicitor, you will be working on high-quality matters on behalf of trustees, employers and public sector bodies on pensions matters.
  • The role offers a broad and interesting mix of work, including advising trustee and employer clients, supporting corporate transactions, and providing day-to-day pensions advice on ongoing schemes.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • You will have at least 3 years’ PQE gained within a reputable firm with a substantive pensions practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions law.
  • A commercial, solution-focused approach to advice.
  • Excellent client care and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in business development activities.
  • Exposure to areas such as bulk annuities, public sector pensions, corporate support and scheme advisory work.
