A leading national law firm is looking to strengthen its specialist Data Protection & Information Governance team with the addition of a talented solicitor or experienced data protection professional.

The Role

You’ll play a key role within a collaborative and highly regarded team, working on a wide range of contentious data protection and information law matters, including:

  • Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
  • Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
  • Personal data breaches and incident response
  • Wider data protection and information governance issues

This is a hands-on position offering exposure to challenging work, with the chance to develop your expertise in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE, or a skilled in-house data protection professional
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act
  • Proven experience handling DSARs, FOIA requests, and data breach responses
  • A commercial, pragmatic approach to problem solving

Desirable:

  • Experience in cyber incidents and contentious data protection matters
  • Exposure to tribunal proceedings or litigation
