\n The Opportunity
\n The firm is looking to appoint a commercially minded Commercial Property Partner who can take ownership of the team's development, identify new opportunities and play a key role in the wider strategic direction of the practice.
\n You will have the freedom to develop and implement a strategy for growth, strengthen existing client relationships and bring new business into the firm, whilst working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.
\n There is also a genuine openness to considering a team move, making this an attractive proposition for an established team looking for a new platform from which to grow.
\n The Role
\n Take a leading role in the development and growth of the Birmingham commercial property team.
\n Set and implement a clear strategy for the department, identifying opportunities to expand the practice and increase market share.
\n Manage a varied commercial property caseload, advising on complex transactions and providing commercially focused advice to a broad client base.
\n Develop existing client relationships and generate new business through networking, referrals and business development initiatives.
\n Lead, mentor and develop lawyers within the team, creating a strong platform for future growth.
\n Work closely with the wider partnership to support the firm's strategic objectives and identify opportunities for cross-referral.
\n Play a key role in recruitment and the continued development of the team's profile in the Birmingham market.
\n The Candidate
\n You will be an established Commercial Property Partner with a strong technical background, a demonstrable track record in business development and the ability to build and lead a successful team.
\n You will be commercially astute, ambitious and keen to take ownership of a department's future direction. Equally important will be your ability to develop relationships, inspire colleagues and identify opportunities to grow both the team and its client base.
