An organisation delivering a major infrastructure programme is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide high-quality commercial and contractual legal advice across a complex and high-profile portfolio of work.
The Legal Counsel will deliver expert legal advice to internal stakeholders, supporting robust contractual outcomes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. The role will involve drafting and negotiating high-value and complex contracts, advising on procurement and construction matters, supporting the resolution of contractual claims and disputes, and managing external legal advisers where required.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders, the Legal Counsel will contribute to reports and briefings that support effective decision-making, while maintaining strong commercial awareness and managing risk.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in contract and/or procurement law, ideally gained within construction, infrastructure or major projects.
