An opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join a growing and highly regarded property disputes team within a well-established regional law firm. Acting for landlords, tenants, developers, property owners and management companies, you will manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential property litigation matters.
The role will involve advising on commercial lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, forfeiture and possession proceedings, dilapidations claims, rent and service charge disputes, restrictive covenants, easements, rights of light, break notices and wider breach of covenant issues. You will also advise clients on risk management and dispute resolution strategies while working closely with counsel and expert witnesses where required.
This is a senior role within the team and offers the opportunity to supervise and support junior fee earners, contribute to business development initiatives and play a key role in the continued expansion of the department.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with at least six years' post-qualification experience in property litigation, ideally with a strong background in commercial property disputes. The role would suit an ambitious Associate seeking progression towards Senior Associate level within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
You will possess excellent technical knowledge, strong client management skills and a commercial approach to dispute resolution. Experience handling a busy caseload independently, involvement in business development activities and a genuine interest in mentoring junior lawyers will be highly advantageous. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.
