This highly regarded firm is seeking a talented lawyer to advise on high-quality corporate matters across multiple sectors and jurisdictions. You will handle a broad mix of work, including mergers and acquisitions, equity, and debt investments, and exits. With some involvement in cross-border transactions, the role offers exposure to engaging and complex corporate matters.
- You will play a pivotal role in mergers and acquisitions, collaborating closely with partners and senior solicitors while taking the lead on transactions where appropriate. From start to finish, you will support asset purchase and sale deals, draft key documents and drive progress throughout the deal lifecycle. Your work will also include assisting with business disposals, preparing due diligence responses, and creating supporting documentation.
- Additionally, you will handle completion and post-completion matters and engage in a broad range of corporate legal work, including advising on articles of association and shareholders' agreements.
- You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers and trainees, supervising their workloads, providing constructive feedback, and helping them develop their skills, while also contributing to the firm's growth through business development initiatives that strengthen relationships and generate new business for the firm.
