We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, repair and testing of production tooling, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards to support safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.

Role: Toolmaker (Die Maintenance)

Salary: 45,219 Shift: Double Days Key Responsibilities Prepare, maintain and repair existing production tooling in line with operational requirements.

Identify tooling issues and implement effective corrective actions.

Clean and maintain production tooling to support production schedules and on-time delivery.

Ensure all tooling is safe, fully operational and production-ready following preventative maintenance procedures.

Communicate any issues that may impact planned work or deadlines to the relevant supervisor.

Assist with engineering changes and support the management of tooling spare parts.

Prepare, set up, machine and test tooling as required.

Manufacture prototype tooling, jigs and templates from a range of materials where required, including producing bills of materials and validating completed work.

Inspect repaired and machined tooling to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Manufacture replacement components for plant equipment and tooling when required.
