An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially driven Territory Manager to join a leading organisation within the industrial equipment and vehicle auction sector.
This field-based role focuses on identifying and securing commercial vehicle consignments while developing long-term relationships with customers across the UK.
You'll play a key role in growing the volume of vehicles entering auction through proactive business development and your existing industry network.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in the construction, agriculture, transport or commercial vehicle sectors who thrives in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure commercial vehicle consignments to maximise auction inventory ahead of scheduled sales.
- Develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building.
- Manage and grow an assigned territory while identifying opportunities nationwide.
- Build strong relationships with buyers, sellers and key industry contacts.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and identify opportunities to maximise sales performance.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey from consignment through to auction.
- Represent the business at auctions, industry events and customer meetings as required.
- Contribute to the overall growth of the business by identifying market trends and new opportunities.

Essential Requirements
- A proven track record in sales with a minimum of four years' experience within the construction, agriculture, transport or related industries.
- An established network of industry contacts.
- Good knowledge of the commercial vehicle, heavy equipment or auction marketplace.
- Strong understanding of current market trends and industry developments.
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
- Availability to attend auction events, including set-up and sale days.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Confident using CRM and business systems (training provided where required).
