A national Vehicle service in the Coventry area is looking for two Maintenance Coordinators to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and adaptable Coordinator with a strong technical background. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will report to the Toolroom Manager and support both the Maintenance department and company Suppliers.
Location: Coventry
Salary: Β£36,500
Shift: Days (hybrid β three days in office, two from home)
Hours: 37.5 hours pw
Key Responsibilities
- Authorise vehicle repairs in line with company policies, budgets, and service standards.
- Review repair history, warranty status, and previous maintenance to avoid unnecessary expenditure.
- Challenge repair costs, labour times, and parts pricing to achieve best value.
- Proactively monitor vehicle downtime and work with repairers to return vehicles to service as quickly as possible.
- Build strong working relationships with external repairers, suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
- Investigate opportunities to recover costs through warranty claims, goodwill contributions, or supplier accountability.
