A major dealership specialising in Heavy Plant & Equipment are looking for a Workshop Engineer to maintain their state of the art Heavy Plant & Equipment at their Stirling facility.

Role: Workshop Engineer

Area: Stirling

Salary: £16.52 - £17.45 per hour (£33,073.04 - £34,934.90 basic) + overtime + benefits

The requirements of the Workshop Engineer will be:

  • As Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and repair of construction equipment in the workshop
  • Ensure work is carried out to guidelines and timeframes
  • Accurate completion of paperwork and system entries based on work carried out
  • Order parts where required
  • Work in accordance with company health and safety standards

The ideal candidate for Workshop Engineer will be:

  • Qualified in an Engineering NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent within Plant, Agricultural, HGV or related
  • Experienced in the repair and maintenance of Heavy Plant
  • Proven hydraulic and electrical competency, with technical experience in engines and transmissions
  • Welding and fabrication experience is desired
  • Strong problem solving skills
