A leading UK dealership specialising in Road Machinery is looking for a Service Manager to manage the after-market business for the division, working closely alongside customers to ensure an excellent level of service is provided whilst collaborating with key stakeholders.

Role: Service Manager

Area: Homebased/nationwide travel

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE + benefits

The requirements of the Service Manager will be:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Road Equipment team
  • Manage the growth and development of the after-market business
  • Contribute to achieving national goals
  • Ensure compliance with all processes and dealer operating standards
  • Maintain customer relationships and understand requirements by establishing close liaisons with Road machinery customers
  • Ensure appropriate and timely problem resolution, both internally and externally

The ideal candidate for Service Manager will have:

  • Experience in a similar Service Manager role in a dealer environment within the Road/Construction/Agricultural industry
  • The ability to organise the day-to-day organisation/scheduling of breakdowns, engineers and parts requirements
  • A strong customer focus and able to deliver on commitments internally and externally
  • Understanding of our customer’s needs
  • Team player and ability to work on own initiative
