We have partnered with a UK wide Construction/Plant Equipment dealership who are looking for a Parts & Service Manager to join their business in Warwickshire. You will be a key component for the business overseeing the Engineering team, offering great Customer Service and having a strong Commercial Acumen. The business works with some of the big names in the UK market.

Location: Warwickshire (commutable from Evesham, Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon, Redditch, Studley, Pershore, Warwick, Alcester)

Requirements of the Parts & Service Manager:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the service and parts department, co-ordinating service engineers, supervising a team.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop service and parts staff, ensuring they are trained to meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve service and parts sales targets & creating revenue streams.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained, minimising excess and shortages.
  • Prepare and manage the departmental budget to ensure cost-effective operations and profitability.
  • Ensure that all service and parts operations comply with company policies, legal regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety within the department, conducting regular inspections and training sessions.
  • Prepare regular reports on service and parts performance, including sales results, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the service and parts department, aligning departmental goals with overall company objectives.
Key Requirements for the Services and Parts Manager:
  • Experience in managing parts and service operations.
  • Technical knowledge of construction equipment (Excavators, dumpers, telehandlers etc) preferred.
  • Strong customer service & relationship building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Proven track record of supervising & mentoring a team of service technicians.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and order processing.
