Due to continued growth across Ireland, they are now looking to appoint an experienced and commercially driven Territory Manager to cover Cork and Kerry. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious sales professional from either an agricultural machinery, agri-business, construction equipment, plant machinery, or heavy equipment background. The role offers genuine long-term earning potential, with established Territory Managers regularly achieving earnings in excess of €120,000 - €180,000 per year.

The Role

  • Primary focus of the position is to secure agricultural and construction equipment consignments ahead of scheduled auctions.
  • You will be responsible for developing your territory through proactive business development, relationship management, and networking across the farming, construction, and machinery sectors.
  • This is a field-based role offering a high degree of autonomy and would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and working within a performance-driven environment.
  • While focused on Cork and Kerry, you will have the opportunity to consign equipment into auctions across the company's global network, providing significant earning potential through an industry-leading commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Securing agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and heavy plant consignments for upcoming auctions.
  • Developing new business opportunities across Cork and Kerry.
  • Building long-term relationships with farmers, contractors, machinery owners, dealerships, and plant operators.
  • Growing and leveraging an established industry network to generate opportunities.
  • Attending customer meetings, auctions, agricultural shows, and industry events.
  • Identifying equipment sales opportunities and advising customers on auction strategies.

Candidate specification & background

  • A proven track record in agricultural sales, machinery sales, construction equipment sales, plant hire, or heavy equipment sales.
  • A minimum of 4 years' commercial experience within either the agricultural or construction machinery sector.
  • Existing relationships with farmers, contractors, machinery dealers, or plant operators across Cork, Kerry, or the wider Munster region.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and business development skills.
  • A self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach to sales.
  • A genuine interest in machinery, equipment, and the industries you support.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A full driving licence.
  • Knowledge of auctions, equipment valuations, or asset disposal would be advantageous but is not essential.
