The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover Oxfordshire, with a strong focus on hospital and healthcare sites. This role is suited to a knowledgeable assessor who is confident working in complex healthcare environments and has a deep understanding of HTM guidance and healthcare-specific regulations. All risk assessments are self-written, and the business ensures proper time is allocated for both site work and detailed, high-quality reporting—no rushed assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Legionella risk assessments across hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Apply expert knowledge of HTM 04-01 and associated healthcare guidance
- Produce clear, detailed, and fully compliant written risk assessments
- Identify risks and provide practical, compliant recommendations
- Liaise professionally with hospital estates teams and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all work complies with ACOP L8, HSG274, HTM guidance, and company standards
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Extensive experience assessing hospitals and healthcare environments
- Strong working knowledge of HTM regulations, particularly HTM 04-01
- Ability to write high-quality, detailed risk assessments independently
- Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills
- Professional and confident approach when working on sensitive sites
- Full UK driving licence
