Are you an ambitious L&D professional looking for a role where you can truly make your mark? We are partnering with a rapidly growing, globally connected logistics and supply chain performance leader to recruit an L&D Specialist. This is a uniquely positioned role within a newly formed Centre of Excellence. While it is an ideal next-step "developmental" opportunity for someone early in their L&D career, you will have the autonomy to shape the training landscape for a business expanding at a remarkable pace. Backed by a highly supportive Head of L&D who is committed to your personal coaching and professional growth, you will step away from purely rigid corporate structures and gain true end-to-end exposure across the entire learning cycle.
The Role: As the L&D Specialist, you won't just be delivering off-the-shelf slide decks. You will embed yourself across a 4-site UK network to understand what makes our teams tick and build the frameworks they are screaming out for.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Hit the ground running by visiting our sites, building relationships with local managers, and mapping out distinct development needs.
- Content Design & Delivery: Facilitate an engaging, blended learning approach. This includes everything from face-to-face coaching and soft-skills delivery to configuring interactive digital modules.
- Process Ownership: Take full administrative and operational ownership of our annual Performance & Development (APND) appraisal cycle—driving business engagement and turning appraisal insights into actionable training plans.
- Early Careers: Support and coordinate the rollout of our graduate schemes, apprenticeships, and internal internship pathways.
- LMS Management: Manage content, track compliance data, and update career pathways on our bespoke, in-house Learning Management System.
About You:
You will already be in an L&D role or have experience with some/all of the above responsibilities:
- Operational Sector Awareness: Experience working within Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing settings is highly desirable. You understand the unique challenge of delivering training to busy operational teams and warehouse floor staff.
- Foundational L&D Exposure: Practical experience in training facilitation, basic instructional design, or TNA. You don’t need to have built a graduate scheme from scratch, but you must thoroughly understand the mechanics of how it operates.
- The Right Mindset: High ambition, exceptional organisational skills, and a confident, highly engaging communication style. You are comfortable standing in front of warehouse teams just as much as you are collaborating with senior Key Account Managers.
- Mobility: A full UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly across the UK sites to embed yourself in the culture.
If you have the drive, initiative, and experience to take ownership of this exciting journey, please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
