HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company in Kidderminster who are looking for a Health Safety and Environment Advisor to join the team. Reporting into the Group Head of Compliance you will work closely with another HSE Advisor to drive compliance and improvements across two local manufacturing and logistics sites. That daily visible presence is essential to managing safety on site - you will have to stand your ground and push back but it’s a balance of knowing when this stance is needed. It will be a really varied role, always out on site, doing walk arounds, compliance checks, toolbox talks, working through actions on the system.

What we are looking for:

  • Good communicator.
  • IT Savvy - able to pick up and maximise the use of a management system.
  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum.
  • Environmental permitting and ISO systems experience would be advantageous.
  • Manufacturing or some high risk, engineering related field would be advantageous but not necessary, attitude and fit is much more important.
