About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead health and safety across the business, running your division autonomously while aligning with group policies and a wider HSE team. The role requires UK-wide travel, with the Kettering head office as base. It is a hybrid model, combining office presence, site visits across the UK, and home working. The business operates across the UK with a headcount of around 400. The main risks involve drivers, remote workers, highway work, confined spaces and work at height. The contractor focus adds pressure to keep projects on time, so we need a pragmatic professional who can maintain high safety controls while balancing operational objectives.

- Ideally, background in utilities, water, civils or similar construction sectors.
- Ability to translate complex problems into simple terms and to give attention to critical issues.
