HR Manager – 3-Month FTC Location: Chester – (4 days min on site) Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (flexability) Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car allowance + employee benefits program We’re recruiting an experienced HR Manager to provide short-term cover on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, complex environment, supporting senior stakeholders and overseeing on more complex employee relations matters. What you’ll be doing: Partnering with the HR Operations Partner to deliver effective HR support. Supporting and leading on complex ER matters, supporting ER team leaders and managers. Managing and improving absence performance and driving improvement plans. Reviewing and updating policies in line with employment law. Ensuring HR processes are compliant and effective. Building relationships and working collaboratively with trade union representatives. What we’re looking for: A proven HR professional with strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law. Confident and experience working with trade unions and senior stakeholders. Experienced in improving absence management and performance. Able to adapt quickly, work autonomously, and provide pragmatic HR solutions. Strong organisational and communication skills.
