A leading Food Manufacturing business is seeking a HR Advisor in a permanent part-time capacity to provide a truly generalist HR service. Supporting 400 employees, the role of HR Advisor will provide an operational HR service with the role taking responsibility in all aspects of the HR lifecycle.

A big focus of the role will be to take ownership of all ER issues, often dealing with a caseload of up to 10 cases at any time. You will be responsible for educating staff throughout the business in terms of personal standards and expectations of the business in order to reduce the volume of ER issues.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have gained experience in a fast-paced blue collar industry; whilst manufacturing is ideal, other industries such as engineering, distribution, logistics and warehousing will also happily be considered.
  • Work in a generalist capacity with a strong ER background.
  • Be able to take ownership of operational HR issues.
  • Be able to engage and influence colleagues operating at all levels within the organisation.

Due to the nature of the industry, there is no hybrid working available. However, my client can offer a degree of flexibility with hours in terms of start and finish times. With this being a part-time opportunity, the requirement is to work 24 hours over the course of the week. There is an element of flexibility in terms of how this is structured.
