HR Advisor \\n\\nLocation:– West Midlands base with regular travel to Cheltenham and Devon\\n Salary: Up to c. £35,000 + car allowance \\n Hours: Full-time\\n Contract: Fixed Term 9 Months, potential of permanent.\\n\\nThe Opportunity\\n\\nWe are recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to cover maternity leave within a well-established, multi-site manufacturing organisation operating across the UK. This is a hands-on, operational HR role supporting site-based leaders within a fast-paced, union and non-union environment.\\nThe successful candidate will take full ownership of their remit, acting as a trusted HR partner to operational managers on 2 sites while working closely with a supportive, pragmatic wider HR team.\\n\\nSite Coverage & Travel\\n\\nBase – Wolverhampton Head Office\\nSites : Cheltenham and Devon\\nTravel pattern:\\nCheltenham: Once a Week / fortnightly – dependant on requirment. \\nNewton Abbot: fortnightly (occasionally every 3 weeks if stable)\\nOvernight stays available for Devon travel\\nCar allowance provided \\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nProvide first-line HR support to operational and commercial teams\\nManage absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance cases\\nCoach and guide line managers\\nAct as a gatekeeper for best practice and employment law\\nSupport both shop-floor and office-based populations\\nBuild strong professional relationships\\nUse HR data and Excel to support decision-making and influence outcomes.\\nAbout You:\\n\\n2–5 years’ operational HR experience (manufacturing or similar preferred)\\nCIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)\\nHappy to travel\\nStrong employment law knowledge\\nProven experience working with challenging operational leaders\\nConfident, resilient, and commercially grounded\\nAble to challenge constructively with evidence\\nComfortable working autonomously and knowing when to escalate
