The HSE Recruitment are working with an Manufacturing Company who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join them on a Contract basis at their Huthwaite Facility. This role sits Inside IR35, has an umbrella rate of between £320-£350 a day and is for 5 days a week, for between 3-6 months This role is to cover Health, Safety and Environment whilst they look for a permanent person. The focus will be on getting the basics right, reviewing Risk Assessments, COSHH assessments and policies currently in place. You will be responsible for giving guidance in all Environmental, Health & Process Safety (EHPS). You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees, the environment, and the community by identifying and mitigating risks associated with manufacturing processes. They need a hands on visible manager who is confident, engaging and personable. The Main Responsibilities: • Maintain and monitor EHS&S performance metrics • Build strong relationships with regional site management, as well as global and site EHS&S managers to support regional EHS&S performance. • Support site development and implementation of EHS&S standards • Support sites to implement programs to identify, manage and control hazards and determine appropriate communications process to control EHS&S risks. The Ideal Candidate: • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum • Experience in chemical manufacturing would be ideal but experience in general manufacturing with COSHH/ Chemicals is essential. • Able to hit the ground running • Environmental sustainability is desirable • Computer skills is needed If you are interested in this contract role, please apply or share your CV with (url removed)
