Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (Subject to Experience), Plus Profit Share Bonus, 25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays, Company Pension, Full Training Provided.

We are looking for a highly organised and customer focused Hire Desk Administrator to join a highly successful, well-established construction rental company. You will be based at their Gloucester depot, joining a fast-paced environment and close-knit team.

As the Hire Desk Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for customers, managing hire enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth coordination of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming hire enquiries via phone and email.
  • Process hire orders, quotations, contracts, and invoices accurately.
  • Schedule equipment deliveries, collections, and servicing.
  • Maintain and update hire records and customer databases.
  • Coordinate with drivers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely service.
  • Monitor equipment availability and utilisation.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all paperwork and administration is completed in line with company procedures.

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role (hire desk experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
