HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Global Environmental Specialist to work for a leading provider of advanced analytical instruments for materials characterization in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and manufacturing. The role will be focused on bringing a sharper environmental focus into the company’s EHS structure (with particular emphasis on ISO 14001 compliance, waste management—including hazardous substances, permitting, and life cycle assessments).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a practical expert in environmental compliance, advising EHS teams and broader operations on regulations, ISO 14001 implementation, waste minimization strategies, permitting processes, and conducting life cycle assessments.
  • Drive hands-on support for waste management, including hazardous substances classification, tracking, and sustainable disposal practices across global sites.
  • Lead environmental permitting efforts, audit readiness, and reporting to ensure seamless regulatory alignment in manufacturing settings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to foster buy-in from technical and scientific staff through clear communication and training initiatives.
