Export Sales Executive – Europe & USA Location: West Midlands (Office-based) Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 40 hours/week Salary: £32,000–£35,000pa Commission: Generous quarterly commission About the Company This is a £20m + turnover UK manufacturer of precision engineered parts, supplying a broad range of critical industries including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Power Generation, and Renewables. The company has seen rapid growth over the last 18 months and is continuing to scale internationally, particularly across Europe and America. You’ll be joining a highly experienced team with deep sector expertise, offering an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced, globally-minded environment. The Role This newly created Export Sales Executive role will see you manage a portfolio of active European accounts, bring you revenue in from day one. While spearheading business development in the USA. With the groundwork already laid through successful market mapping, visits and business underway, your mission is to accelerate revenue growth and close new deals. Key Responsibilities Account Management (20%) Handle inbound enquiries from your accounts, quote, and order tracking via internal systems. New Business Development (80%) Focused on the US market: outbound prospecting, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns. Re-engage dormant contacts and follow up on historical quotes. Travel to the USA 1–2 times per year for prescheduled meetings and business development. Collaboration Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider sales team. Liaise with production to ensure order fulfilment. Support marketing initiatives and contribute to sales strategy. Ideal Candidate Must-Haves A natural hunter mindset – you have to be driven to find and win new business. Resilient and proactive – thrives on outreach, not just managing warm leads. Industry exposure – background in manufacturing, oil & gas, engineering, is a plus. Able to align working hours to US market focus, flexibility is offered. Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills and attention to detail. Nice-to-Haves Previous experience selling into the USA. Familiarity with technical documentation (e.g., API/3.1 material certifications). Existing network or contacts in relevant US markets.
