The Director of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) will elevate HSW performance, foster a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires strategic leadership to influence stakeholders internally and externally for transformational impact., + Partner with the COO and AO&CD Leadership to embed HSW in decision-making and operational priorities.
- Develop an HSW Strategy:
- Create and implement a multi-year roadmap for continuous improvement and cultural change, positioning the business as an industry leader.
- Oversee Governance and Compliance:
- Maintain governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and report progress to the Executive Team and Board.
- Lead and Develop the HSW Team:
- Manage a team of 90 professionals, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture.
- Regulatory Liaison:
- Represent with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and address key issues.
- Monitor Compliance:
- Ensure statutory compliance through audits and collaborate on findings to implement improvements.
- Deliver Data-Driven Insights:
- Provide actionable insights via high-quality reports to enhance organizational performance.
- Promote Behavioral Safety:
- Lead initiatives to embed behavioral safety and improve attitudes across all levels of the organization.
- Incident Oversight:
- Oversee investigations of significant incidents, ensuring lessons learned are implemented.
