We are looking for an experienced Interim SHE Manager to join a well-established manufacturing site to cover for a maternity leave. The site has a strong focus on maintaining and improving safety performance, compliance and site leadership. There is also ongoing development of the SHE function and continued investment in site capability. The site is a key manufacturing operation within a high-investment production environment.

You will lead SHE across manufacturing, production, warehousing and logistics, working closely with the Factory Manager and wider leadership team. A key focus will be supporting the continued development of the site’s SHE culture.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma (essential)
  • Strong background in FMCG or manufacturing (engineering, logistics, warehousing also considered)
  • Proven site leadership experience in a high-risk environment
  • Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
  • Strong knowledge of SHE compliance, risk management and incident prevention
  • Ability to lead and influence at all levels across a site
  • Hands-on, proactive and solutions-focused leadership style
  • Ability to develop teams and build SHE capability across a site

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build credibility quickly, and support the continued development of SHE culture on site. Strong communication, influence, and a practical approach are essential.

Working pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week
